RACE FORMAT

Each of the Race Formats for our Giant Digital Scalextric Track can be set up with or without the need for Pitstop Refueling.
The inclusion of our Pitstop Refueling option is typically recommended for smaller Race meetings and is suitable for all formats with the exception of ‘Fastest Lap’.

OPEN EVENT FORMATS

Each of the following formats are well suited to events hosting a very high volume of guests where the need for speed is the key to ensure every guest has the opportunity to experience the slot car racing party action.
Ideally suited for before or after-dinner entertainment, at large evening corporate parties, fundraising balls and high volume public promotional events.

Fastest Lap – Flat out Racing Mayhem! – Each Driver completes a limited number of laps and races dictated by the volume of guests and Formula Fun Racing performance time at your event. The Driver who completes the fastest lap of any race during your event is pronounced as the winner.

Best Race Time – Consistency, skill and attention required! – Consistency is the key to winning ‘Best Race Time’, less chaos and more focus are required as the Drivers aim to complete the race without spinning off the track which seriously comprises their overall race time.

Most Laps Completed – The only Format with pre-race set time – Each Driver completes a limited number of laps and races dictated by the volume of guests and Formula Fun Racing performance time at your event. The Driver who completes the fastest lap of any race during your event is pronounced as the winner.

PRE-EVENT STRUCTURED FORMATS

Each event is structured to your individual requirements taking into consideration the number of Drivers and/ or teams competing. Drivers names can be displayed on the Formula Fun Racing computer along with the Drivers image.
Ideally suited to smaller parties with a pre determined number of guests. Conferences requiring breakout entertainment or a feature rich teambuilding activity for a set number of delegates

Drivers Championships – The ‘Formula 1’ Racing Format – Compete against other named drivers in your bid to win the Drivers Championship. Collect points available in a series of races determined by your finishing position in each race. Practice laps provide an opportunity to learn your cars handling characteristics and secure a valuable position on the starting grid, whilst the race itself offers little room for error.

Team Championships – The ultimate teambuilding entertainment – A team of Drivers race cars from the garages of the world’s most prestigious car manufacturers. Each garage houses Novice, Expert and World Class race cars to suit the abilities of a variety of drivers. Each Driver must select a car most suited to their driving ability. Points accumulated by each Driver assist in elevating the team to the top of the Team Championships leaderboard.

*The time allocated for practice laps and the length of each race, as well as the number of drivers who qualify when racing in ‘Knockout’ mode will be determined by the number of drivers participating and the duration of the Race Meeting.
